Listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/26034] [accessed 25 November 2021] as a baptismal font made of sandstone with date "1701-1800" [is that an error or is the font actually a modern replica of the Mosan design?] and measuring 105 mc in height. The font consists of an octagonal basin decorated with a flat moulding and four human heads set at 90 degree-angles on the upper rim; at least one of the heads appears male, crowned and bearded; raised on an octagonal pedestal base and an octagonal-to-square lower base. The 1977 photograph in BALaT KIK-IRPA (ibid.) shows a flat wooden cover on it, as well as what appears to be the frame of a procession float atop. A communication from Pol Herman (e-mail of 24 November 2021) includes the baptismal fonts at Charneux, Sprang, Maasmechelen, Munsterbilzen, Tongerlo and Waanrode as somewhat similar examples of Mosan font design.
