A 15th-century wall-mounted holy-water stoup in this church is listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/79776] [accessed 11 March 2024]: "wijwatervat [...] hasdsteen [...] Date: 1401 - 1500 [...] hoogte: 35.5 cm"; polygonal basin with a tapering underbowl. BALaT KIK-IRPA does list a later font ["Date: 1701 (onzeker) - 1800 (onzeker)"] in this church [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/79750] [accessed 11 March 2024]. The Agentschap Onroerend Erfgoed 2021: Parochiekerk Sint-Pieter [https://id.erfgoed.net/erfgoedobjecten/71049] [accessed 24 November 2021] lists and illustrates the same 15th-century stoup in this church ["Wijwatervat uitgespaard in één van de zuilen (15de eeuw)"] but not the baptismal font. This source lists and illustrates the later font of 1854 in this church [cf. supra] [https://www.erfgoedplus.be/details/KF.objecten.1248247635797702635639] [accessed 11 March 2024]. A communication from Pol Herman (e-mail of 24 November 2021) mentions the baptismal fonts at Charneux, Sprang, Maasmechelen, Munsterbilzen, Tongerlo and Waanrode as somewhat similar examples of Mosan font design. ***EMAILED POL AGAIN 11 MARCH 2024 ASKING FOR EXPLANATION OF THE PHOTOS SENT
