Listed and illustrated in Erfgoedplus.be [https://www.erfgoedplus.be/details/KF.objecten.20147] [accessed 24 November 2021] as a Romanesque baptismal font of the 12th-13th century decorated with four angel heads [cf. infra] in the church Sint-Monulfus en Gondulfus (Mechelen-aan-de-Maas) ["Het standvlak van de doopvont is vierkantig. The font appears to stand on a square plinth. There is a partial view of a brass(?) cover on it. The entry for this church in Open Churches [https://openchurches.eu/nl/gebouwen/sint-monulfus-en-gondulfus-maasmechelen] [accessed 24 November 2021] reports a Romanesque baptismal font of the 12th century, moved into the new church from the old one closer to the Meuse river ["Romaanse doopvont. A communication from Pol Herman (e-mail of 24 November 2021) includes the baptismal fonts at Charneux, Sprang, Maasmechelen, Munsterbilzen, Tongerlo and Waanrode as somewhat similar examples of Mosan font design.
