Church Notes: Romanesque church with parts dated perhaps to the 11thC(?); 12thC tower; late-14thC chancel; with later modifications -- stands near the new Grote Kerk of 1841 but it is still used for reliious functions -- listed in Rijksmonumentenregister [Monumentnummer: 42149]

A fragment of a baptismal font was [is still?] located outside the church, on the south(?) side, and was apparently used as a 'pierre de criée', a raised platform for the church sexton to voice or read proclaims to the parishioners. Said to have been removed from the church during the Reformation.
