Op vier hoeken is een masker uitgehouwen. De binnenzijde van de cuppa is in twee delen, gescheiden door een hardstenen wand; een vont en een heilig putje. Op de vont staat een bolwelvend geprofileerd koperen deksel, bekroond met een kruis. De doopvont stond oudtijds in de doopkapel in een verlaging in de vloer in de absidiool", has been moved around from a baptistery chapel, then by the chancel steps, later to the north aisle. The low-dome font cover is made of metal and has a cross finial. A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 15 November 2021) notes: "The baptismal font consists of a square foot, which merges into an octagonal column, on which an octagonal basin stands. A mask is carved on four corners. The inside of the bowl is in two parts, separated by a hard stone wall; a font and a sacred well. The font has a convex profiled copper lid, crowned with a cross. The baptismal font used to be in the baptistery in a recess in the floor of the apse. [...] It looks limestone, Mosan, gothic, 15th century. [...] Maybe a modern copy?"
