The former base of a 15th-century stone baptismal font used as supprt for the 15th-century reconstructed pulpit here is noted in the Monumenten in Nederland. Noord-Holland (2006). A baptismal font of copper is mentioned, without details, in the entry for this church in Reliwiki [https://reliwiki.nl/index.php/Wijk_aan_Zee,_Voorstraat_1_-_Dorpskerk] [accessed 15 November 2021], presumably one of the post-Reformation type attached or near the reconstructed pulpit. The stem of the base is octagonal and the lower base is octagonal and moulded at the top with four stops that make it square on the lower half. A Chi-Rho symbol has been carbed on the front side of the stem but it is likely a later addition.
