The entry for this church in Reliwiki [https://reliwiki-nl.translate.goog/index.php/Hagestein,_Dorpsstraat_26_-_Hervormde_kerk?_x_tr_sl=nl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-GB&_x_tr_pto=nui,op,sc] [accessed 14 November 2021] reports a Gothic baptismal font serving as support to the late-17th century pulpit [="een gotische, hardstenen doopvont, gebruikt als voet voor de preekstoel. Preekstoel, tweede helft 17e eeuw."] In a communication to BSI (e-mail of 13 November 2021) Pol Herman gives "Kranten Streekarchief Midden-Holland , Schoonhovensche Courant | 1915 | 26 januari 1915 | pagina 2" as source and suggests the font is a octagonal gothic Mosan limestone font with 4 heads and 4 triangular diamants at the base. It's definitely not early-gothic, and not yet renaissance. I think it is 15th century."
