notes and illustrates a baptismal font of ca. 1300 that originated in the ruins of the church in Villefert, and was donated by its parishers. The font is of tub shape, slightly tapering towards the bottom, the sides decorated with a diaper pattern; the squat base, which appears to be part of the basin block, has been cut to square. The font cover on it is modern. Further information provided by Pol Herman from Historische Kranten, Erfgoed Leiden en Omstreken, Leidse Courant | 1980 | 25 september 1980 | pagina 8.
