Pol Herman informs (e-mail of 2 November to BSI): "The baptismal font dates from 1552 or 1553 and has returned to the church after years of wandering. It had been removed from the church and lay in the cemetery. The municipality now has it on loan from the Zeeland Museum Foundation, which took care of it at the end of the nineteenth century. The bluestone baptismal font was already in use before 's-Gravenpolder joined the Reformation in 1583." ImagesArea] informs that the Zeeuws Museum lend the font basin to the church in 1963. And that a new pedestal would be manufactured, suggesting that only the basin is original.
