Lower base or plinth of a late-Gothic / 15th-century? Reported and illustrated in J.W. Boersma's EEN DOOPVONTBASEMENT IN DE KERK V AN FEERWERD: EEN BELANGRIJK ARCHEOLOGISCH-LITURGISCH FENOMEEN [25078-Article Text-29227-1-10-20161025.pdf] [accessed 31 October 2021] as the three-step plinth excavated during the restoration of the church in 1992 from the west end of the nave; Boersma shows two photographs of the interior [cf. ImagesArea] showing 1)the view of the excavated interior in 1980, and 2) a virtual reconstruction of the interior as it could have been originally, font and all.
