Reported in F.A.J. Vermeulen's De Bommeler- en de Tielerwaard (Gijsbers & Van Loon, Arnhem 1974-1975): 326 as the former base of a 15th-century bluestone baptismal font used then as support for the pulpit; after a later [pre-1939] renovation of the church the font was moved to the tower.
