The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 22 September 2021] notes the 18th-century church dedicated to San Miguel Arcángel but mentions no font in it. The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_LA_RIBA.pdf] [accessed 14 October 2021] describes the present church as built in the 17th or 18th century, but including some materials from an earlier building of ca. 1200; no font mentioned. There is a font in this church; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a short stem, of hard-to-identify shape, part of which may be partly buried on the flooring. There is a crude wooden cover, flat and plain. The font is located in a crude enclosure in the southwest corner of the nave. There is also a very crude stone basin serving as holy-water stoup, with a modern earthenware bowl inserted in it.
