The surviving pedestal base of a medieval baptismal font is inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as having been made of Gotland limestone ca. 1230, the sides decorated with a vine of roundels with four human heads set at 90-degree angles at the upper end, with a roll moulding between them. Borg (2002) mentions that it was included in the group 'Anonymous Calcarius II' by Boström (1942) with other fonts (Bedästra, Runsten and Smedby. Described and illustrated in the Kalmar läns Museum [inv. no.: KLM 35314] [https://digitaltmuseum.se/011025426021/dopfunt] [accessed 5 October 2021]: "Dopfunt, dopfuntsfot. Av kalksten. [...] Fyndort, Ventlinge kyrkogård, Ventlinge socken, Öland. Gåva 1875 från Ventlinge sockenmän. [...] 1230 omkring". A modern font of black marble [cf. ImagesArea] is use in the church.
