Font Notes:
Noted in Blomqvist (1929) in a group of plain fonts of varied types, in his chapter of non-figural fonts. Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a baptismal font of the 'Bottnarydsgruppen' made of granit [cf. infra] ca. 1250. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910713F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone [cf. supra] in the 13th century by a regional workshop; the only decoration is a large moulding in the centre ring position, part of the basin block. No cover present. The baptismal dish in use is dated 1622.
