A fragment of a Romanesque baptismal font here is described in Emile Jacquemyn's "De herkomst van drie fragmenten van romaanse Doornikse doopvonten in het Gruuthusemuseum te Brugge", in Handelingen van het Genootschap voor Geschiedenis, Société d'Emulation (Jaargang 129, 1992 (3-4), page 247-252). Now housed in the Gruuthuse Museum at Bruges, donated to the museum on 3rd of Octobre 1870 by James Weale. The entry for this fragment in the Museum [cf. supra] describes it as a fragment of blue limestone probably Tournai, that includes several human figures with books, probably Apostles, between columns; dated 1101-1200 [="Fries van blauwe kalksteen, vermoedelijk Doornikse steen. De menselijke figuren met boek zijn vermoedelijk apostelen. Vermoedelijk in Romaanse stijl"]. The fragment shows on one side a seated male figure holding a book in his right rand which rests on his lap, the left hand raised; on the left is another such, but only a part of it has survived; on the right is an angel, but only part has survived; between the figures are thick columns with leaf capitals and moulded round bases.
