Inventoried and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10013002] [accessed 14 September 2021] as a stone baptismal font of between 1191 and 1250 probably created by a Tournai workshop; the base has been altered. In an e-mail communication to BSI Pol Herman writes: "A year ago [2020?], Jean-Claude Ghislain wrote [to] me : first third of 13th century, romanesque style with gothic decoration." The baptismal font appears to be made of the blue-black limestone of the area; it consists of a quadrangular [square?] table-top basin with a rounded underbowl with leaf capitals at the corners; each of the four panels of the basin is decorated with a blind arcade of six trefoiled arches; also part of this block appears to be the half central shaft of the base; the lower half of the base may or may not be part of the original, and the original lower base and corner colonnettes are all missing. The cover is low-dome and has a Greek-cross finial. [NB: BALaT KiK-IRPA [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10013000] [accessed 14 September 2021] further notes and illustrates a wall-mounted 16th-century stone holy-water stoup in this church [cf.
