Church Notes: the medieval [13thC?] church was added a tower in 1841; in the 1850s the old church almost totally replaced by a new building, but it retained the 1841 tower;
Described in Tynell (1913-1921) as a baptismal font made of sandstone, somewhat similar to the one in Söfvestad [aka Sövestad; only the plain basin is similar]. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900506F3] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 13th century by a regional workshop. No cover present. The baptismal dish was made of brass in the late-16th century.
