Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921) as the basin of a baptismal font made of Gotland limestone, its decoration somewhat resembling that on the south portal of the church at Hedeskoga; the human figure, the bird and the two quadrupeds could be the symbols of the Four Evangelists. Noted and illustrated in Rydbeck (1936) in her section on 'Carl stenmästare'. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900720F2] as the basin of a baptismal font made of limestone in the 13th century; the SHM entry refers to both Tynell and Rydbeck but does not endorse the attribution in Rydbeck or the identity of the figures in Tynell. No cover present.
