Noted in Brunius (1850). Described in Tynell (1913-1921) as a baptismal font of sandstone [cf. infra] of the 'Blentarpsgruppen'. Noted in Reutersvärd (1967). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900711F2] as a baptismal font made ca. 1200 in a regional workshop; the SHM entry identifies the material of the basin as sandstone, that of the base as limestone, probably making this a composite font [="cuppa och fot har olika ursprung"]. The basin is cylindrical but has a rounded underbowl; the base is round-to-square, moulded and with spurs on the lower base. No cover present.
