Baptismal font described and illustrated in El Arte en Cuenca [www.elarteencuenca.es/blog/catedral/cuenca-catedral-07] [accessed 16 July 2021]: "En el centro de la Capilla se sitúa la plateresca Pila Bautismal adornada tanto en su redondo pedestal como en su vaso. Bajo el borde de su copa recorre horizontalmente una cenefa con varias semejantes figuraciones en relieve de cabezas de ángeles aladas, mientras que bajo ella y separado por una moldura lisa se desarrolla una variada ornamentación floral entra la cual aparecen figuras de monstruos y ángeles." Noted in AsturNatura [www.asturnatura.com/turismo/catedral-de-cuenca/15129.html] [accessed 12 July 2021]: "La pila bautismal [...] Es plateresca del siglo XVI y tiene relieves decorativos en su base." There is also a holy-water stoup bearing the Cabrera family arms.
