Described in Tynell (1913-1921) as a baptismal font of sandstone of the Munkarpsgruppen, somewhat similar to the font at Görslöf [Görslöv]; Tynell gives the uneven measurements of the font, which is not square but rectangular. Noted and illustrated in Rydbeck (1936) in her section on 'palmett' fonts. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900808F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century by a regional workshop; the basin rectangular, rather than square; the post-Reformation wooden cover is noted and illustrated in the SHM entry. The baptismal dish was made of brass in the 16th century; it is decorated with a scene of St. George fighting a dragon.
