Noted in Tynell (1913-1921) as the basin of a 'Blentarpsgruppen' font -the base is missing- made of sandstone; Tynell gives its location as the "Nordiska museet i Stockholm" [cf. infra]. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 950512F1] as the surviving basin of a medieval font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional workshop, and located at the Statens historiska museum, Stockholm; the SHM entry notes Tynell's reference but does not endorse the attribution. No cover present. The present font in this church is modern, made of sandstone in 1938. It is used with a late-16th-century brass baptismal dish probably made in Nuremberg, and donated to the church in 1613, as evidenced by the inscription on it, which mentions both the date and the name of the donor.
