Font Notes:
The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 6 July 2021] notes: "Tiene su iglesia dedicada a Santa María Magdalena, y está concluida con estilo renacentista sobre base románica [...] La portada es románica [...] La pila es románica, de copa, con sogueado, arcos incisos, pie cónico y base circular". The baptismal font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated a rope moulding at the rim; the inside of the basin well is decorated with concave ribbing; the outside has an arcade or round blind arches around the underbowl; the base has a roughly conical upper section on a wider cylindrical base. There is no cover present but the upper rim of the basin retains two metal staples from an old cover.
