Noted in Brunius (1850). Described in Tynell (1913-1921) as a baptismal font of sandstone. The entry for this church in the Trellebogs Kommun web site [www.trelleborg.se/uppleva-gora/sevardheter/kyrkor/stora-slagarp-kyrka/] [accessed 4 July 2021] reports a sandstone font of the 12th century here; it also mentions a brass baptismal dish of the early 17th century decorated with an eagle in the centre of the bottom.
