Described and illustrated in Tynell (1913-1921) as a font of mixed stone, which is identified by A. Hadding as sandstone for the basin and as a calcareous sandstone for the base; Tynell suggests similarities to fonts of the Dagstorpsgruppen. Noted and illustrated in Rydbeck (1936) in her section of 'palmettfuntarnasgruppen', quite similar to the font at Dagstorp. Noted in Reutersvärd (1967). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900801F3] as a 'palmettgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200. [NB: given the quatrefoiled shape of the basin -inside and out- it is difficult to accept such an early date for it]. No cover present.
