Scene Description: Source caption: "por el estilo escultórico, la simbología, los defectos técnicos en ambos lugares, el material sobre el que se esculpe, creo que la obra del claustro de Alquezar y el crismón de Betorz fueron realizados por la misma persona. No creo que fuese un taller dado que su obra, ruda y sencilla, no la vemos repetida en otros lugares del entorno. Parece ser un estilo que empieza y acaba en este entorno de reconquista de Barbastro."

Church Notes: present church chiefly 17th-18thC but has some remains from the original [early-12thC?] Romanesque building; 18thC mural paintings -- photo essay of the Romanesque chrismon in http://www.romanicoaragones.com/colaboraciones/colaboraciones043808crismonbetorz.htm [accessed 21 June 2021], in which the author attributes it to the early-12thC master of Alquezar
[NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here]. A baptismal font located in a chapel off the nave here is reported in the web site [http://www.barcabo.es/index.php/mod.pags/mem.detalle/idpag.30/idmenu.1063/chk.6e2693b991db6daedb28e40f6496f08d.html] [accessed 21 June 2021] of the Bárcabo municipality, to which Betorz belongs, but it appears to be the 18thC replacement font.
