Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 930802F1] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a mid-Sweden workshop [="mellansvensk verkstad "]; the SHM entry reports that the present base is a modern replacement of its lost original; the latter was eventually found and is now [ca. 2003?] in the porch of the church. No cover present. [cf. BSI entry for Hammar No. 2 for the Baroque font of this church]
