The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 22 April 2021] notes: "Su iglesia está dedicada a la Natividad de Nuestra Señora [...] . La portada es renacentista con arco de medio punto, pilastrones y friso [...] Tiene una curiosa pila excavada en una roca rosacea". Baptismal font consisting of a tub-shaped basin, rectangular at the upper rim, the sides and underbowl tapering towards the bottom, raised on a short polygonal base; it is a very irregular object, crudely executed and possibly brought in from elsewhere. No cover present.
