The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 14 April March 2021] notes: "Su iglesia, dedicada a Santa María, es gótica [...] La portada es barroca [...] La pila es románica con gallones, pie cilíndrico y base circular". Baptismal font of stone consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with ribbed patterns all around, raised on a round pedestal base and a circular lower base or plinth. Wooden cover present, round, flat and plain; modern.
