Es renacentista [...] Tiene restos románicos con ménsulas y capiteles historiados [...] Su ábside es románico, recrecido [...] La portada actual es clasicista [...] Tiene otra románica, del XII, aunque adulterada [...] La pila es renacentista con molduras". Jesús Fdez. Marcos (1998) lists a record in the Archivo diocesano de Burgos of payment for a new font cover in 1786 [http://avellanosadelparamo.es/fabrica.htm] [accessed 11 April 2021].
