Noted in Hallbäck (1966) as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 13th century. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920607F3] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional workshop. The font is monolithic, with the upper volume cylibdrical and decorated with a vine below a flat moulding; the 'neck between the two volumes has a substantial rope moulding and the round, roughly hemispherical base volume is plain. No cover present. The font is now [ca. 2020] located inside the church, in the southeast corner; earlier photographs show the font outside the church, by the porch entrance but by 1926 it had been restored to the interior, in the northeast corner, by the pulpit.
