Noted in Hallbäck (1971) as a baptismal font of the Bolumgruppen. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920629F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the mid-12th century; the SHM entry refers to Hallbäck's attribution of this font to the Bolumgruppen, with which it obviously diagrees, describing it instead as "oidentifierad - saknar paralleller", and remarks on the much weathered state of the upper rim which has been trimmed. The monolithic font is a very crude work consisting of two volumes carved from a single block; the upper volume is round, with a double rope motif below the trimmed upper rim, and semi-figures at 90-degree angles on the sides; tha lower valume has a band of decoration around part of its upper square sides, part of which appears to have a snake or vine, while another has a row of seven large round sockets; the sides of the base below the upper decoration are plain; the side(?) without the decorative band has a very schematic human figure on horseback. No cover present. The 'dopängel ' above the font was made in 1722 by Jonas Ullberg, of Velinga.
