Noted in Hallbäck (1966) as a baptismal font of ca. 1300 of a type inspired in the Gotland font design, but now missing the middle shaft; weathering and damage reported. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920609F4] as a baptismal font of the 'musselcuppstyp' made of sandstone ca. 1300; the SHM entry notes that, it being of sandstone instead of the usual Gotland limestone, it is probably a copy of the original design but made in Västergötland; the font is missing its middle section, which accounts for its short height [74 cm].
