Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920523F1] as a baptimal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century by a regional workshop. The font consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with a flat moulding at the upper rim, with a complex vine between two rope mouldings all around the sides; raised on a round-to-square base decorated with a thick rope moulding at the centre ring, the lower base made up of a broad roll moulding with angle spurs that make it square. No cover present. [NB: an early photograph shows the font in the northeast end, by the pulpit and the sacristy entrance; it was later moved to the southeast corner, where it is now [ca. 2020] located].
