Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920522F3] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the late-12th century by a regional workshop; the SHM entry describes the decoration on the basin sides as a pair of facing lions, a Tree of Life and a dragon. The font consists of a roughly cylindrical basin with a rim moulding, raised on a round moulded base; all of it is very worn and eroded [NB: the whole font is very low, less than 70 cm; in its present [ca. 2005] location in the church it has been elevated on a wooden block to raise it to a functional height]. No cover present.
