Scene Description: Source caption: "Gótica de finales del siglo XV y principios del XVI, con planta de cruz latina y cabecera poligonal. La torre, posiblemente del siglo XV, tiene aspecto de fortaleza, es de planta rectangular formada por tres tramos y rematadas por almenas. Su portada de traza barroca data de principios del siglo XVII. Del conjunto de la iglesia destaca el retablo del altar mayor de finales del siglo XVI, obra del escultor Francisco de Ágreda. En él se aprecian grandes influencias de la escuela de Valladolid. Recientemente restaurada y embellecida. Tiene muestras románicas, góticas y renacentistas. Esbelta torre (atalaya-castillo), interesantísimo retablo atribuído a Fernando de Agreda. Cuenta con abundantes retablos barrocos y con los enterramientos de los Salcedo y los Morales con sus escudos como patronos de la Capilla o Altar Mayor. Es del siglo XVI con planta de cruz latina y cabecera poligonal. Tiene aspecto de fortaleza y está dedicada a Santa Maria la Mayor o de la Asunción."
