The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 8 March 2021] notes: "iglesia dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora, formando un tipo de cruz latina con dos capillas, con bóvedas del siglo XVII-XVIII. Su ábside es rectangular con contrafuertes y tiene adosada otra edificación [...] La pila es románica, lisa, pero con un buen pie y base escalonada". The baptismal of stone consists of a roughly hemispherical (rather tapering) plain basin, raised on a round moulded base and a wide circular plinth . No cover present.
