Noted and illustrated in Oscar M. Ruiz Pérez' Cantabria Románica [www.cantabriaromanica.com]: "Pila bautismal de la Iglesia de Santa Cecilia en Rucandio. Siglo XIII." Baptismal font of stone consisting of a round cauldron-shaped basin raised of a round moulded base that could have been upturned; the basin has a number of Maltese crosses inscribed in circles around the sides; two metal staples remain on the upper rim, and one old anchoring has broken off a large chunk of stone at the rim. Thick wooden cover with a handle; date unknown.
