Oscar M. Ruiz Pérez, in Cantabria Románica [www.cantabriaromanica.com] notes: "A la Iglesia de Santa Marina de Coroneles solo le queda de sus orígenes románicos esta magnífica pila bautismal." The present font consists of a bucket-shaped basin decorated with a pattern of concave ribbing or fluting with inserts all around, on a round-to-square base with corner decorations; the baset appears unmatched and may actually be a former basin from another font re-cycled here as the base for the present one. No cover present.
