Oscar M. Ruiz Pérez, in Cantabria Románica [www.cantabriaromanica.com] notes: "una curiosa pila bautismal de cuba cuadrada, única en todo el valle." Baptismal font of stone consisting of a square basin with a chamfered underbowl raised on an also cubic pedestal base and a short square lower base. No cover present but the upper rim retains a metal staple from an old cover, and may have lost another at the opposite side, diagonally across.
