The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 16 February 2021] notes: "Su iglesia está dedicada a la Natividad de Nuestra Señora y es renacentista con cabecera románica [...] El ábside es rectangular con ventanal románico tapiado y canes sencillos. La portada es de medio punto [...] La pila de bautismo tiene copa lisa y base circular." The wooden cover is round, flat and plain; appears modern. The shape of the inner basin suggests a later date in the Romanesque style of font.
