There is a medieval(?) stone holy-water stoup in a corner by the entranceway; it appears to be monolithic but of a design with two well-defined volumes: a roughly hemispherical basin with vertical piping set at 90-degrees on the sides, and horizontal roll mouldings at the upper and lower rims; the short base is quadrangular with a large saltire cross on at least two of the sides. The stoup is raised on a ledge formed by a constructonal square pillar near the entranceway. [NB: it is not clear from the sources consulted whether there was [must have been?] another baptismal font here before receiving the one from Ahedo de Bureba]. [NB: cf. BSI entry for Ahedo de Bureba for details of its baptismal font of that church, later transferred to San Pedro de la Hoz]
