Font Notes:
The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 31 January 2021] notes: "Su pila de bautismo es románica, con la inscripción: 'Vis baptizari? Volo”." [NB: we have no corroboration of the presence of this inscription on the medieval font; the text is part of the formula used during the baptism of the infant, the priest asks the child "Vis baptizari?" and the sponsor responds for the child "Volo". -- we are not aware of any other medieval font bearing this inscription; could it be a modern/later addition?]
