The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 27 January 2021] reports: "la pila es rústica, de copa". The stone font consists of a hemispherical basin on a squat round pedestal base; because the flooring has been raised one cannot ascertain that there is no lower base or plinth to it. There are two metal staples at opposite ends of the upper rim. The wooden cover is round, flat and plain; modern, painted.
