The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 22 January 2021] reports three vessels in Cerezo de Río Tirón, one of which is "renacentista, acanalada". [cf. BSI entries for Cerezo de Río Tirón Nos. 2 and 3 for the others] [NB: there was also a medieval parish church of San Nicolás but it may have lost altogether and we have no information on its font]
