Scene Description: the damage to the upper rim at opposite ends can be seen here -- notice also the rather shallow inner basin, an indication that the font may be of a later date despite the external design

Baptismal font of stone consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin of plain sides raised on a moulded rounf-to-square pedestal base; there is considerable damage caused by metal staples from an old cover anchoring in the upper rim; the inside basin is rather shallow which may indicate a later date than expected from the outer design. No cover present.
