The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 10 April March 2021] notes: "Su iglesia, de grandes proporciones, dedicada a San Nicolás de Bari, es de estilo gótico [...] la portada actual es moderna [...] la pila es sin decoración". Stone baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a shorth pedestal base, also round. The location of the font may have been modified [in the 16th century?] and it is now partly attached to the wall. The wooden cover, round, flat and plain, is modern.
