Font Notes:
Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920519F3] as the basin of a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 14th century by a regional workshop; the SHM entry suggests the complete text of the inscription may have read "Ave Maria". [NB: the dating in the SHM may have assumed that the date of the inscription and that of the font are the same; could the basin be 12th-century and the inscription added later?]. The medieval basin is located now [2021] in the southeast corner of the new church. No cover present.
