Font Notes:
Noted and illustrated in Hallbäck (1966) as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 12th century; it served as the base of the pulpit until 1911, when it was removed and restored to service, Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920613F4] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200 by a regional workshop; the SHM entry points out some cement repairs on it and refers to Hallbäck [cf. supra]. The font consists of a roughly cylindrical basin decorated with two parallel rope mouldings around the otherwise plain basin with a plain chamfer; the base is round, conical in shape, and a pair of incised grooves around the lower end. No cover present.
