The present font, located in a niche of the south wall of the nave in this church, is listed in Palissy [ref.: IM68004618]: "Fonts baptismaux se situant, comme les autres éléments de cet ensemble mobilier, vers 1775, année de la consécration de l'église [...] Grès : taillé, peint (faux marbre, peint doré), bois : taillé, peint (faux marbre), stuc : moulé, peint (polychrome, peint doré, peint argent) [...] Socle rectangulaire ; couvercle en bois, cadenassé ; décor en stuc ou en plâtre [...] H = 270 ; la = 140 ; pr = 55 (dimensions totales) ; cuve avec son couvercle : h = 90, la = 70, pr = 55 [...] Polychromie et faux marbre restaurés". [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here]
